Common Issues

• No hoops detected on a page
  Some pages use images or SVGs for text instead of real characters. BrowserHoop can only detect actual text content. Try a different page with more visible text.
• Game does not start
  Make sure you are on an http:// or https:// page. BrowserHoop cannot run on browser internal pages (chrome://, about:, etc.) or on the Chrome Web Store.
• Score not appearing on the leaderboard
  Scores sync automatically after each game. It may take up to 30 seconds for your score to appear on the public leaderboard. Make sure you have an internet connection.
• Hoops are misaligned
  Some fonts and layouts can cause slight alignment issues. We are continuously improving detection accuracy. Try reloading the page before starting a game.

BrowserHoop does not collect personal data, browsing history, or any information beyond gameplay scores. Player names are optional and default to "Anonymous." No ads, no tracking, no analytics. All game logic runs locally in your browser.
